Brian Johnson has been photographing for over 26 years. He fell in love with photography at the age of 13 and after that there was always a camera in his hand. After high school Brian attended college and attained a BS in Photography. For several years after brian worked for studios around the western US and also worked as a freelance photographer. After settling down in Missoula Montana Brian began to focus on teaching and started a successful training blog and then founded Missoula Photography School. Brian believes the only way to be successful at anything is to continually improve. He does his best to pass thing along to his students and anyone who will listen to him. If you know him you know that even though he loves digital, he has a greater love and admiration for film photography. His prized possession is his Leica M3 and Leica lenses that was gifted to him at the age of 16 by his grandmother. Brian is friendly and helpful and always looks for the best in others. Brian is in the process of opening his second photography school in Portland, Oregon.

Judge Steven Williams Bio~

Steven Williams is a photographer of many facets. He is a Los Angeles-based professional photographer/ publicist that has traveled the far corners of the world in a devoted career that extends itself to the worlds of entertainment, art, charitable foundations, religion, philanthropy, and business. Mr. Williams’ client portfolio holds some of the world’s most celebrated luminaries.
Serving as a Chief Photographer, he has exclusively photographed industry events such as The NAACP Image Awards, The Grammy Awards, The Soul Train Awards, The American Music Awards, The Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Parties, The Soul Food Movie Premiere, The Light It Up Movie Premiere, Idlewild Premiere (NYC), The Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards, The Tyson-Holyfield Fight, and The Magic Johnson Foundation’s Fashion Show. Mr. Williams’ has produced photographic work for Vibe Magazine, Sister-2-Sister Magazine, The Source, Ebony, Jet, BRE, Black Elegance, Black Noire, Los Angeles Magazine, Q-Magazine (UK), The Los Angeles Times, Essence, Black Enterprise, Rolling Out, Blackfilm dot com, and People. Judge Ms. Lisa Taylor:

I am a freelance photographer that has photographed live shows within the music industry for the past nine years. Touring as Brian Culbertson's tour photographer afforded me the opportunity to capture the band's personal moments behind the scenes and their onstage high energy performances.

I have taken photographs of legendary artists including: George Benson, Patti Labelle, Natalie Cole, George Duke, Gladys Knight, and Michael Bolton just to name a few. In addition, I have provided photographic services from small clubs to large festivals in excess of 10,000 attendees. I continue to receive accolades from my clients as well as my peers capturing the true artistry of musicians and other clients.

I am known around the music industry as "Lisa the Photographer". It is my true love and passion of the art that gives me an exceptional eye and timing to capture that artistic image displaying a depth of feeling and emotion that transcends through the artist.
